Scoring and Slitting

When you need to fold a printed project that is on heavier card stocks of paper, we suggest you have it scored. Scoring will allow the printed piece to be folded with a clean finished look. Scoring puts a groove in the paper that ensures the fold is accurate and doesn't damage the ink or paper.

Slitting is typically used when you want to insert a business card somewhere inside your printed piece. You will find this application on many types of folders or report covers. Slitting also has a variety of other uses as well.
